Kristina Warren, MA, LPC

Kristina is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked in a variety of settings including community agencies, hospitals, government, managed care and outpatient services.  She has experience working with adolescents and adults, as well as veterans and active duty military in individual and group settings.  Kristina works with substance abuse, grief, loss, and life transitions along with caregiver issues.  She has experience working with those who have chronic pain and chronic illness, compassion fatigue, complicated bereavement, traumatic grief, chronic mental health and post-traumatic stress.

Kristina works with her clients in an eclectic, humanistic, integrative person-centered approach – using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Rational Emotive Behavioral techniques.  Kristina often uses expressive therapy techniques to help clients work through their grief and trauma issues. 

Kristina has a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology & Sociology from Maryville University.  She is also an avid abstract mixed media artist and painter and spends her free time creating art.
